Harrow on the Hill

In addition to the well known St Ann and St George Shopping Centers, Harrow is well known for some famous monuments and places of interest.
This is to list but a few:

Harrow School

This well known education institution produced some famous personalities who later became leaders in subjects they pursued. Sir Winston Churchill who led Britain to victory in the second World War graduated from the Harrow School.

Harrow College

1999 saw the merger of two local colleges in Harrow, namely Greenhill College and Weald College, to be called Harrow College, making it the largest college in the London Borough of Harrow. Plans have recently been approved for the Enterprise Center in their Harrow on the Hill Campus which will upgrade the business studies and provide enough room for up to 580 pupils and 140 members of staff.

Nortwick Park Hospital

One of the largest National Health Service hospitals. It also houses St. Mark’s hospital, which is a national centre of gastrointestinal medicine, as well as the British Olympic Association.
